How To Make Playdough
In this second installment of our ultimate guide to engaging your child indoors, child development expert and founder of Rose & Rex, Allison Klein shares her super simple playdough recipe.

Playdough is a sensory material that is not only fun (and easy!) to make, but also an ongoing catalyst for imaginative play. Involving kids in the whole process, from creation to playing, makes the experience even more valuable.
Ingredients:
4 cups of flour
3 1/2 cups of water
1 cup of salt
4 tablespoons of vegetable oil
2 tablespoons of cream of tartar
Food coloring
Instructions:
Boil the water
Add flour, salt, vegetable oil, and cream of tartar
Stir in food coloring and essential oils
Let the dough cool until it's not hot to the touch
Enjoy!
